Street-parade:millions of young people meet in Zurich every year toward the half of August to participate in what has become a worldwide event: the Street-parade.
As the name suggests, this open air parade hosts the best djs of the world on board of trucks which run through the city, putting their music and making people dance all day.
The party goes on for 2 days, but there are many "after-parties" organized after the main event.
The street parade is also a great event celebrating love, peace, liberty and tolerance. It is characterized by a peaceful atmosphere, which despises any form of violence and racism. Everybody is welcome, without regard to skin color, religion, age, sexual preference or cultural interests.
In the background of this event lies the magic city of Zurich, with its beautiful and clean lake, making every moment unforgettable.
There is a magic spirit lying behind the street parade, which is hard to describe, and everybody should take part in this event at least once in their lives.

Between November and December the Zurich Christmas market is held.
